Bending at low temperatures
The test examines the use of fuel systems and the behavior of the hose assembly at low temperatures under flexing.
Hose assemblies are pressurized in a freezer under a temperature of -55°C(-67°F) for 24hrs.
The hose assemblies are then flexed in a defined time and frequency over a mandrel to their minimum flexing radius.
Leakages or deformations should not occur.
