Impulse-Test

Impulse test (hydraulic impulse)

This test examines if the hose assembly withstands the pressure impulses that occur during operation.

The test is performed between 100k and 400k impulses with a frequency 35 or 70 pulses per minute according to the aerospace norm. The pressure range is 125% of the specified operating pressure. Both pressure increases and decreases with tolerances are defined.

The fluid and ambient temperature range from room temperature up to the point of spontaneous ignition of hydraulic oils.
